It is shaping up to be an
exciting, busy holiday season around Clare County
with loads of special events
and businesses o ering
great gi ideas.
Dec. 10 –
Clare Chamber Outdoor Holiday Cra Show
*You can  nd something
special at the Clare Area
Chamber of Commerce’s
Holiday Cra Show tomorrow, December 10 from
10 am to 4 pm at the Clare
Union Depot, home of the
Chamber o ces,  e Clare
County Arts Council, a
unique gi shop and mementos from Clare’s past in
the Railroad Museum.
 e Holiday Cra Show is an unusual outdoor
show with twenty- ve
vendors spaces  lled when
we checked last.  e event
is sure to be a great show
and includes Santa being
escorted through town to
his Santa House where he
will hear children’s wishes
from 10 am to 2 pm. His
reindeer will be there from
10 am to noon too, with
all of the usual activities.
Firepits will keep everyone
warm and hot chocolate
and donuts will be provided by Cops & Doughnuts
inside the depot.

United Methodist Church
at 4 pm December 10th
with hot chocolate and

Coat Giveaway and
Christmas Tree Lighting
in Lake
*In the spirit of giving, there will be a Coat
Giveaway at the Depot,
Downtown Lake Station
on Saturday, December
10th. You can enjoy some
hot cocoa & shop from 2
pm to 5 pm and stay for
the Tree Lighting at 5:30
pm under the pavilion. You
are encouraged to bring
an ornament to hang on
the community Christmas
Tree, there will be a visit by
Santa and caroling.
Harrison Christmas
Light Parade
*Harrison Fire Department’s Christmas Light
Parade will be on December 10th. Line up is at the
fairgrounds at 5 pm, and
the parade through town
begins at 6 pm.  e parade

ends at the Town Square, where you can meet with Santa and Mrs. Clause. That where Santa will pass out goodie bags until they are all gone.
Children’s Christmas Party in Lake George
*Then, on December 10th at the Lincoln Township Hall in Lake George, from noon to 3 pm there will be a Children’s Christmas Party with cookies and games.
Dec. 11 –
Christmas Tree lighting in Lake George
*Then on the 11th, Sunday the first annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Lake George. The event will be from 5 to 7 pm with the Christmas Tree lighting at 6 pm on the corner next to the township hall.
Dec. 15 –
Gateway Band Christmas Concert in Farwell
*The Gateway Band will perform their Christmas Concert on December 15 at 7:30 pm in the Jaimie Performing Arts Center in Farwell.
Dec. 16-18
Walk Through Bethlehem
This free event is from 6 to 8 pm each of the three days. The Clare Industrial property located at the corner of Clare Avenue and Colonville Road will be the setting for this year’s “Walk Through Bethlehem’ as a Drive-through experience. Entrance is at Rebak Way and Clare Avenue. From the comfort of your vehicle, make the journey through Bethlehem and make the journey through Bethlehem an essential part of the 2022 Christmas season for your family. Dec. 17 –
Santa visits and carriage rides at Clare Ace Hardware
*December 17 will bring another visit from Santa to Clare, hosted by Ace Hardware at 10316 South Clare Avenue on the north side of the City. Santa will be escorted through town to his Santa House which will be located at Ace Hardware. Youngsters can visit Santa in his house from 10 am to 2 pm and there will be snacks and hot chocolate provided by Ace Hardware and free Carriage Rides for everyone!
Dec. 18, 24 and 25 –
Christmas services at BCC
*On Sunday, December 18, Brown Corners Church will have 8:30 and 11 am Worship Services and at 10 am Kids Christmas Programming and 10 am Connection Sunday.
*On December 24th, there will be a 7 pm Worship Service with Christmas Eve Candle Light.
*December 25th, Christmas Day services will be held at 10 am.
