Members of Lawrence American Legion Hess Eastman Post 174 held a Veterans Day Ceremony, Friday, Nov. 11, at the Lawrence Veterans Memorial at Hill Cemetery. Following the rifle volley, members of the Lawrence High School Band played Taps. A metal sign, designed and constructed by Charles Beeching, was placed earlier this year at the veterans memorial.
