Garry began his adult life working in factories in Detroit and Evart. He later worked for a local appliance store installing TV antennas and large satellite dishes. Garry also worked in home construction.
Garry enjoyed working with all types of electronics. As a child, he loved taking apart TVs and stereos just to see how they worked. He loved music, old Western movies, and enjoyed working with TVs, radios, and big speakers. Through the years, he tinkered with amplifiers, CBs, TVs with tubes, and satellite dishes.
Above all else, Garry loved his Lord, Jesus Christ. He was a member of Clare Christ Fellowship Church for most of his adult life. He enjoyed working with the sound equipment at his church and singing praises to God. Garry had a servant’s heart and would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you were in need. In good times and in bad, Garry never wavered in his faith and trust in the Lord.
