Obituary: Myra Lee Comer

Myra Lee Comer, age 85, of Prudenville passed away Friday, October 21, 2022, at McLaren Bay Hospital in Bay City.
Funeral Services for Myra will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1125 Byfield Drive Harrison, on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 11 a.m. A Luncheon will Immediately follow. Interment will take place in Cherry Grove Cemetery in Clare following the Luncheon. The family will receive friends at Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel in Harrison on Tuesday, October 25, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel and the church.
Myra was born on April 15, 1937, in Midland, daughter of Ralph and Myra (Horning) Albee. She graduated from Midland High School with the class of 1955. Myra married the love of her life, William Comer on September 22, 1956, in Midland. She enjoyed baking donuts, crocheting, listening to music, and watching butterflies. She enjoyed volunteering to work with children at her church. Myra’s family was the most important thing to her in her life.
Myra is survived by her husband of 66 years, William Comer; children, Scott (Clarissa) Comer, Lee Anne Comer, and Marlaina (Froy Garcia) Comer; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Irvin “Hugh” (Laura) Albee; and many nieces and nephews, including, beloved nieces, Myrla, Mary Beth, Nora, Laura and nephew, Kim.
Myra was preceded in death by her parents; sons, William “Bill” Roy Comer and Bryan Dean Comer; siblings, Betty (Don) Sandow, Robert (Liddie) Albee, Roland “Keith” (Lorine) Albee, Ralph “Dick” (Mae) Albee, and Philip Albee; and sister-in-law, Jackie Albee.
