Marion High School celebrates homecoming

MARION – It was homecoming week last week at Marion High School and a wide array of events were featured from Monday through Friday, involving plenty of participation from the student body and fans.
Homecoming king and queen court consisted of the following: 2021 King, Thomas Jenema; 2022 Prince, Blake Lee; 2022 homecoming king runner up Nick Neuman; 2022 homecoming king – Mason Salisbury; 2022 homecoming queen – Georgia Meyer; 2022 homecoming queen runner-up Selena Quintero; 2022 Princess, Skylar Michell; 2021 queen and Stella Henderson.
Parade floats were again a very popular part of the homecoming festivities and judging took place to determine the best float.
The 9th Grade won first place with Hungry Hippo. The 11th grade won second place with BattleShip. The 10th grade float had CandyLand and the 12th grade float featured Monopoly.
