WAVERLY TWP. – Two people wanted by authorities, one for a parole violation and the other, felony larceny, were arrested early Monday morning, July 25, in Waverly Township, according to a press release from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
Van Buren County Sheriff Daniel Abbott said Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 34000 block of 36th Avenue in Waverly Township at approximately 1 a.m., after receiving information that the two wanted subjects, Amanda Newcomb, 33, and Mark Hall, 33, may be at the address.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they observed the wanted subjects in the garage through a window. Deputies tried to contact the pair, however, they barricaded themselves in the garage.
