PLAINWELL—It might have been the Plainwell girls soccer team’s opening game of the season, but Kayla Bar appeared to be in mid-season form.
Barr scored a pair of goals to lead the Trojans to the 3-0 victory over visiting Battle Creek Lakeview on Monday, April 11.
Alex Thornton also had a strong performance for Plainwell. Not only did she score the other goal, but she also split time in goal with Evelyn Alward to earn a share of the shutout.
Nikki Faupel, Catey Engel and Brooklyn Timpe all chipped in with an assist in the winning cause.
