No injuries in Garfield Twp rollover

No one was injured and no propane leaked when a Heintz propane truck rolled over in the ditch on 8 Point Lake Road,
Quality Towing assisted Garfield Township Fire and Rescue at the scene of a propane truck rollover Tuesday morning.

A propane truck rollover closed 8 Point Lake Road for several hours Tuesday, Clare County Sheriff John Wilson said Wednesday.
Garfield Fire and Rescue Chief Keven Tubbs verified that incident, saying firefighters were on the scene of the Heintz propane truck rollover on 8 Point Lake Road for five hours. The call came in at

9 a.m. when the truck slid off the icy road and rolled onto its side in the ditch
He said there were no injuries and no environmental problems. “It could have been a real problem,” he said. “The truck was three-quarters full of propane.”
The department was assisted at the scene by the Clare County Sheriff’s Office and by Quality Towing who worked hard getting the truck back on its wheels.
