The McBain girls basketball team opened up the new year with a 59-20 Highland Conference win at Roscommon Tuesday.
The Lady Ramblers played to a 10-10 tie after the first quarter, but they took control of things in the second, claiming a 29-12 lead at the half.
Leading the way was Taylor Benthem with 17 points, Sydney Heuker had 11 points and Analiese Fredin and Kahlie Heuker had eight points apiece.
McBain (5-1 overall, 4-0 Highland) was at Pine River on Thursday, plays in Shepherd on Monday and heads to Houghton Lake on Thursday.
