There will be a whole lotta crack sealing going on this summer with the Saugatuck Township Board last month approving work orders for an estimated $358,000 worth of road improvements in 2022.
The Allegan County Road Commission will seek and present project bids to the board in spring.
Work carried over from the 2021 construction season includes:
• Chip and fog sealing, then following with CST aggregate 127th Avenue from 60th to 66th streets; and crack sealing:
• 131st Avenue from the dead end to 62nd Street,
• Indian Point Road from 131st Avenue to the dead end,
• Silver Acres Drive from 131st Avenue to the dead end,
• 134th Avenue from 63rd Street to the dead end,
• 134th Avenue from Blue Star Highway to the dead end,
• 62nd Street from 131st Avenue to Old Allegan Road,
• 64th Street from 134th Avenue to Clearbrook Drive,
• 64th Street from Sambroek Lane to 135th Avenue,
• Clearbrook Drive from Blue Star Highway to 66th Street,
• 64th Street from Clearbrook Drive to Sambroek Lane,
• Clearbrook Drive from 65th to 64th streets,
• 65th Street from Clearbrook Drive to 135th Avenue,
• Maple Gate Drive from Destin to Palmetto courts, and
• Sandra Lane, Sterling Road and Sharon Lane.
