McBain man arrested on meth charges

MCBAIN – The Michigan State Police has arrested a McBain man for possession of methamphetamine.
Troopers report that on Sunday Feb. 4, at around 1:50 a.m, they stopped a vehicle on Burlingame Street near 13th St. in Cadillac.
A passenger in the vehicle, 35-year-old Jame Edward Farve III of McBain, was in possession of three packages of suboxone strips and approximately six grams of meth, troopers reported.
Farve was placed under arrest and lodged in the Wexford County Jail.
The Michigan State Police report Favre was arraigned in the 84th District Court in Wexford County on one count possession of meth, second or subsequent offense, one count possession analogue second or subsequent offense and habitual offender third offense noticed.
He was given a $100,000 bond.
His next scheduled court appearance is on Feb. 20 at 2 p.m.
No additional information is being provided by law enforcement at this time.
