A Harrison man has been sentenced after being found guilty of six criminal sexual conduct related offences across three separate files back on Nov. 30, 2023. He was sentenced on Jan. 23 by Judge Mienk to serve consecutive prison terms.
In the first file, for the conviction of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the second degree, Adam Josiah Post was ordered to serve 107 to 270 months (approximately 9 years to 22.5 years), and for the conviction of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the first degree, he was ordered to serve 262 months to 60 years (approximately 21 years to 60 years). The sentences will run consecutive with one another, and he was granted 320 days credit for time already served. He was also ordered to pay a total of $1,766 in fines, costs and fees. Both sentences were at the maximum end of his sentence guideline range.
In the second file, for the two convictions of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the fourth degree, Post was ordered to serve 381 days on each conviction, concurrent with one another, with credit for 381 days already served. He was also ordered to pay a total of $266 in fines, costs and fees. The sentence guidelines for the offenses were 0-17 months.
Lastly, in the third file, for the conviction of Criminal Sexual Conduct- Assault with Intent to Commit Criminal Sexual Conduct, Post was ordered to serve 20 months to 10 years, and for the conviction of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the fourth degree, he was ordered to serve 381 days. The sentences will run concurrent with one another and concurrent with the other sentences. He was granted 381 days credit for time already served on bot convictions, and he was ordered to pay a total of $266 in fines, costs and fees. The sentence guidelines were 5-23 months and 0-17 months respectively.
