KALAMAZOO—The SAC boys bowling match between Allegan and Parchment at Revel and Roll on Wednesday, Jan. 10, turned out to be more of a mismatch.
The Tigers won both baker games and both match-play games to cruise to the victory by a 28-2 margin.
In addition to keeping the Tigers unbeaten at 5-0 in the SAC Lakeshore Division and 7-0 overall, the win was a special to Allegan coach Don Lamb for another reason: it represented the 100th of his career.
“These boys worked so hard covering spares and staying focused for the whole night,” Lamb said. “As a team, their progress has made me so proud of them.”
The baker games were the best of the season for Allegan, with the Tigers winning 212-150 and 198-120.
Match play saw Allegan win 852-702 and 861-672.
Anderson Zoch led the Tigers in both games, turning in respective scores of 226 and 197 for a 423 series.
Levi Creguer (189 in game one and 191 in game two for a 380 series) and Logan Locatis (187 in game one and 190 in game two for a 377 series) also performed well.
