Lawrence “Larry” Kelly Green– age 64 of Lake passed away on Wednesday, November 15th, 2023, at MYMichigan Health in Clare. Lawrence was born on December 17th, 1958, to parents Herbert Lee and Diane (Verty) Green in Detroit, Michigan. Larry grew up here in Clare County, moved downstate to Detroit and then back here again 25 years ago. Larry was a workaholic and great provider for his family. He loved his play time enjoying fishing, hunting, playing cards, football and Superbowl parties, baseball, hockey, and Nascar. Larry died doing what he loved. He is survived by his lifelong companion Nancy Stark, and her children; Dennis Stark, Jennifer Stark (Eugene Williams), Amelia Harmon, grandchildren Damion, Siera, Elizabeth, Liam, Myah, brothers; Darryl Green and wife Kay, and Robert Green and wife Lacey. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harold Green and sister Glenda Green. A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Larry’s life is planned for Monday, November 27th from 11AM until 1PM at the Campbell Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Farwell.
