Lawrence School District voters approve bond proposal

LAWRENCE – “The election results were overwhelmingly positive. The continued support Lawrence Public Schools receives from this community is evident following Tuesday’s Nov. 7 election,” said Lawrence Public Schools Superintendent Gretchen Gendron.
She added, “We are excited to update our facilities and continue the mission and vision we have established on behalf of our students and to prepare them for a lifetime of education and excellence.”
On Nov. 7, district voters were asked to consider a bond proposal that would be a no tax increase on the current levy. With voter approval, it will allow the district to repair the Jr. Sr. High roof, among other district repairs and updates.
