Wanda Marie Bishop

Wanda Marie Bishop was born March 1, 1935, in Kalamazoo, and passed away Nov. 11, 2023. She was united in marriage to Frank V. Bishop on May 12, 1956, and remained married and best friends for the next 61 years until Frank’s passing in 2017.
Together, they raised four children, and is survived by Dawn Bishop, Daniel (Diane) Bishop, Joni (Rich) Brebner, and Russell (Laurie) Bishop. Celebrating life with grandchildren, Jesse Brebner, Donovan (Amanda) Bishop, Allyson Bishop, Kelly (Rob) TenBusschen; and great-grandchildren, Quinn and Ruby TenBusschen; and extended family in Colorado; and many beloved nieces, nephews. Also surviving is a brother, Richard.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John, and a son, Van Turcott.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Centrica Rose Arbor Place, 5473 Croyden Ave., Kalamazoo, MI, 49009.
A memorial planned by the family will be held at a future date when Wanda and Frank will be laid to rest together.
