Passed away Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 at U of M Medical Center, Ann Arbor. Dave was born June 1st, 1959 in Kalamazoo, son of the late Lawrence and Shirley DeLong and had lived in the Gobles area the past 41 years. Dave was a Journeyman Plumber for the majority of his working years, the last 13 years working for himself. Dave was very passionate about racing and loved watching short track racing. He enjoyed doing anything outside. From watching wildlife, splitting wood, waterfalls or watching lightning, he loved being out of doors. Dave cherished time spent with his family and friends. Be it watching NASCAR with his friends or playing horseshoes at family cook outs, he cherished time spent with his family.
Surviving is his significant other Roxanne Blackman; daughters, DJ (Jeremiah) Moore, Danielle (Eleazar) Asbeury; grandchildren, Brieanna, Ellysia, Avry, Braeden, Teigen, Malia; a sister, Debbie (Bob) Beck and a nephew, Evan Mendez.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
