Ronald “Ronnie” Scott Andreas, age 66, of Farwell, Michigan, passed away on August 26, 2023, at home with his wife and children. Ronnie’s final days consisted of spending time with friends and family at home, and he peacefully passed away.
Ronnie was born on October 14, 1956, in Albion, Michigan, the son of the late Roland “Rollie” Andreas and the late Annie (Gale) Andreas. He was the fourth born of five children. Three siblings survive him. Tom Andreas, Larry Andreas, and Tammy (Chet) Howell. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Andreas.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Eunice (Smith) Andreas. They were married on October 21, 1977. Ronnie is survived by his two children, Chad Andreas and Casey (Andreas) Schulz; four grandchildren, Trent, Alexis, Tesa, and Jayce; one great-grandson, Tru; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Ronnie moved with his family from Albion, Michigan, to Clare County in his teens. He graduated from Farwell High School in 1975. He worked as a truck driver for many years. Ronnie and Eunice owned several businesses in Clare County over the years. The most recent being rental properties. Ronnie’s passion was working on rental houses. He was a one-of-a-kind problem-solver, assisting community friends with any repairs. Even in Ronnie’s final days, he was advising his brother on a water well and his hospice nurse on electrical issues she was having at her house.
The family would like to thank all the friends and family who supported Ronnie in his final days at home. He was a very blessed man to have the support that he had. Ronnie was able to say his goodbyes and every last wish he had was able to be met.
Per Ronnie’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A day of remembrance is being planned for immediate friends and family.
Ronnie had a special gift when it came to children. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Clare Area Weekend Backpack Program be made in the name of Ron Andreas.
