LAKE CITY – Lake County Administrator Liz Vogel, at a recent buildings and ground committee meeting, reviewed a request from the Building Department to review the soil erosion permit fee structure.
It was noted the proposed fee structure would eliminate “priority” based fee schedules and all permits would be the same. The item will be added to the September Finance Committee for further review.
Sherry Blaszak, Conservation District Manager, reviewed their request to maintain the Nature Trails behind the Human Services building on Sanborn Road.
It was pointed out they are also requesting the County to continue mowing the trail as they have been prior. The Conservation District is also requesting continued access to two sheds that are on the property currently housing Conservation District items. These sheds were purchased by the Conservation District.
The Committee would
like to have a written agreement drafted to this effect. It was decided the item will be added to the September Finance Committee agenda for further review.
