Construction at The Lucky Wolf, 404 E. Michigan Ave., Paw Paw, is underway. The Lucky Wolf was recently awarded a RAPS grant through Southwest Michigan First with the help of Market Van Buren and Arbor Credit Union. The facade and brickwork from the 166-year-old building is being restored, in addition to an exterior patio, ADA entrance and upgrades to the theater itself. The Lucky Wolf opened in the historic Paw Paw Playhouse in September of 2022 for the Wine and Harvest Festival. Greenglass Coffee Roasters, located inside, began roasting coffee onsite in January of this year. The Lucky Wolf will celebrate its first-year anniversary at the Wine & Harvest festival with free music from over 20 regional artists, Sept. 8 and 9.
