Teacher retires after 25 years at Marion

MARION – Marion Schools has announce the retirement at the end of the 2022-23 school yeear of Anthony Baldwin who has been at the high school for 25 years.
The school website offered this announcement:
He has been at MHS for 25 years, served as class advisor, robotics coach, yearbook editor/creator, teacher union president, MPACT advisor and was always ready for a dress up day and new ideas in professional development. Thank you for your amazing talents and dedication in your teaching career. 
“Mr. Baldwin was honored on May 31 with a staff luncheon, an award of appreciation and memories galore. Best wishes on your next endeavors and your upcoming fishing excursions.”
It was also announced the Marion Public Library will have summer reading on June 30 at noon at the building on 120 East Main Street, Marion.
Community care packages can be brought in at the library with items such as socks, soap, shampoo, lotion issue packs, bandages, wet wipes, toothbrushes and tooth paste also provided/
