Annie Ruth Wheeler Cruson of Marion, MI went to be with her Lord on May 15th, 2023 at Munson Hospital in Traverse City, MI.
Ruth, also known as Peanut, enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, and doing puzzles. She enjoyed her many years of work with the Marion Eagles Club and all the people she met along the way. She held her friendships and family on a high level, but her most favorite role was being a Mom.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ken Cruson, son Eric(Nikki) Cruson, daughter Erin(Matt) Roby, grandchildren Austin Winters, Devon(Emily) Cruson, Drew(Logan) DeRidder, Dylan Cruson, Kaylie Roby, Logan Roby, Bridget Roby, Kenadie Roby, and great grandchildren Zoey Winters & Colton DeRidder.
She is also survived by her sister Jane(Wheeler) Bowman, brother John(Peggy) Wheeler, sister-in-law Jean(Dave) Anderson, brother-in-law Paul Cruson, brother-in-law Chuck Cruson, brother-in-law Joe Cruson, sister-in-law Colleen(John) Carmoney, and many Nieces, Nephews, and special In-Love grandkids Tyler Robertson, Kayla Roby, and Paige Vandenbos.
She was preceeded in death by both her parents Ray & Annie(Blanton) Wheeler, Father and Mother in law Cleon & Marion(DeCann) Cruson, brother-in-law and sister Joe & LaMarr(Wheeler)Laban, brother-in-law Willis(Bill) Bowman, sister-in-law Vickie(Devereaux) Cruson, and many other loved ones.
Per the family’s request, cremation has taken place with Cremations Only in Lake City, MI.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life Luncheon at the Marion Eagles Club from 1pm-4pm on Saturday, June 17th, 2023.
