Clare baseball dominated Harrison on Tuesday night, securing a 13-1 victory in their Pre-District game. The game started with a run from Miles Haggart in the first inning, who drew a walk to score the first point. The fourth inning saw Clare’s big bats come alive, with Chase Randall, Keagan Hill, Joe Atyeo, and Jayden Arthur all contributing to the six runs scored.
Haggart was the star of the game, allowing only three hits and one run over five innings while striking out six.
Harrison’s Heroux took the loss, allowing four hits and seven runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out three.
Hill and Randall led the hit count for Clare, each collecting two hits. The team also showcased their speed on the base paths, stealing at least two bases each, with Atyeo leading the way with two.
