Each year, the Otsego softball team hosts the Don Knight Memorial Tournament in honor of the former Otsego High School athletic director who passed away in 2006.
This year’s event featured as special moment, as Knight’s granddaughter Annabelle Lucas launched a home run in the first of three games for the Bulldogs to lead Otsego to the 18-2 victory over archrival Plainwell.
For the day, Otsego went 3-0 to take top honors at the tournament, outscoring its opponents by a margin of 36-8 along the way.
With those three victories, the Bulldogs improved their season record to 9-5.
