GOBLES—Two strokes.
That’s all that separated first place from second place and second place from third place at the Wolverine Conference boys golf jamboree at Shamrock Hills on Wednesday, April 27.
In the end, it was Vicksburg (156) edging out Otsego (156) for top honors, with Plainwell (162) placing third.
Paw Paw (167), Edwardsburg (172), Three Rivers (177), Niles (183) and Sturgis (202) followed in the fourth-through-eighth slots, respectively.
Individually, Spencer Shearer paced Otsego with a team-topping 37. Carson Ryder (39), Cooper Smalldon (40), Landon Eastman (42), Carsen Miller (43) and Jurian Shaffer (43) followed.
