Loren Hoving, age 68, of Apple Valley, Utah (formerly of Allegan, Michigan) passed away surrounded by family at his home on Tuesday, April 25 and was welcomed into heaven.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Arla; his children Melissa Hoving and Nick Hoving; his brother Bob Hoving; sisters-in-law Marcia Hoving and Ginger Chittenden.
Loren was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Arla and Don Carroll; brother Woody Hoving; sister-in-law Lois Hoving, and brother-in-law Glen Chittenden.
He worked for Haworth Chair Plant for fourteen years. He enjoyed working on a multitude of projects and loved helping others. His favorite times were spent with his family enjoying all types of water sports and camping. He also enjoyed traveling to the many national parks near his new home in Utah.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St. Zeeland, MI 49464.
