Two missing Harrison teens, the subject of a police search over the weekend, were found safe on Monday morning.
The Clare County Sheriff’s Office had asked for help in locating the two, identified as 15-year-old Hannah Rene King and 16-year-old Easton Michael Guilfoy, They reportedly left their homes in the morning of Friday, April 14. Investigators said they were driving a blue 2008 Jeep Liberty.
While they were missing, investigators said both teens were using WiFi connections to communicate with family and friends asking for money and both claimed to be either in the Flint or Manistee area. Local officers followed up with a search in each area.
CCSO Public Information Officer Mike Bailey said after investigation and a tip, officers found that the two had returned to the area. They were located at a residence in Hayes Township and taken into custody on the morning of April 17th.
One teen was returned to parents and the other was turned over to a juvenile, according to Bailey. He said he wasn’t sure which one was returned home and which detained. He said the case is currently under review by the Clare County Prosecutor, Michelle Ambrozaitis.
