Commissioners approve COA building proposal

MARION – The Osceola County Board of Commissioners, at its meeting on Tuesday, voted to approve a request for proposal for a Commercial Kitchen at the Commission on Aging building in Hersey and to have results reviewed by the Health, Safety & Grounds Committee.
The due date of the RFP is April 25 at 2 p.m.
The request for proposal for walking track and parking lot at the COA building in Hersey was approved with the intent to have the results reviewed by the Health, Safety & Grounds Committee. Due date of RFP is April 25 at 2:30 p.m.
Commissioners approved the Equalization 2023 Report as presented by the Equalization Director.
The board also approved the Resolution Authorizing Entry of Participation Agreements in Partial Settlement of the National Prescription Opiate
Litigation and Entry of State Local Government Intrastate Agreement concerning allocation of settlement proceeds.
Commissioners approved the Board Chair to sign the Discharge of Mortgage for John and Ashley Bieri.
Commissioners voted to approve accepting the bid of $2,725 for the 2009 F250 4×4 from Brian and Donna Olender and to authorize the Clerk to sign off on the title.
The board also approved the resolution as presented for Education and Sharing Day.
